$500 non-refundable deposit due at time of reservation. Buyer is entitled to use this deposit towards a future litter if there are no acceptable puppy matches. Buyer may choose the preferred sex at time of deposit, but breeder reserves the right to match a puppy to the buyer based on temperament. I welcome scheduled puppy visits after the age of 5 weeks (preferably in the order in which deposits are received). The puppy shall remain with “Breeder” until the puppy is at least 8 weeks old. Any reserved pup that is not picked up by due date with no prior arrangements made, may be placed with a new buyer on waitlist.
I raise my puppies on Inukshuk Marine 16 (link below). I am also a distributor and you are welcome to purchase a 33 pound bag of food at time of pup pick up for $65.00. Please notify me if you wish to purchase dog food from me so I can have it ready to go.
If you plan to switch feed, I recommend you keep your puppy on Inukshuk for a couple of weeks during his transition when you initially bring him him home and slowly begin to mix the new brand with the Inukshuk over a period of a two to three weeks.

I strongly recommend crate training! It keeps your puppy safe, teaches them to hold their bladder and gives them a safe space to sleep or go when they need a time out! My adult dogs will often prefer to sleep in their crate (I just leave the door open and they go in on their own)

No! While we begin to introduce the concept of going outside to potty, most 8 week old puppies are not house broken and it will take time and training. We do attempt to litter box train our puppies which works well. I use a tray with equine horse bedding pellets for them to learn to go in a designated potty area within their whelping pen.
I strongly discourage offering your new puppy any "treats" initially as young pups will have sensitive stomachs. To begin training, I recommend you offer his kibble as a training treat. Over time you can begin to slowly introduce alternative treats. Cheese sticks (small pieces) and mini Milk bones are a great options and I also like Blue Buffalo Nudges treats as you can break off small pieces. For crate time, I will offer a bully stick, frozen marrow bone (you can get from a local butcher) or chicken feet. Links below!

I have several favorites and all of these work great!
Definitely a slicker brush and a comb!
And I recommend a dremmel for nail trimming
