Winston is a very sweet, affectionate young boy with a thick, silky coat and a gorgeous headpiece with expressive, soulful eyes. He has a gentle nature and would make a wonderful companion in the right guardian home.
Winston has been primarily raised in our kennel environment with access to a dog door, so he is not yet housebroken, but he is crate trained and adapts well to routine and structure.
What Is a Guardian Home?
A guardian home is a special arrangement where a family provides a permanent, loving home for a high-quality dog while the breeder retains breeding rights for a set period of time. This allows the dog to enjoy life as a cherished family pet while remaining part of our breeding program.
Once Winston is retired from the program, he will be neutered at our expense, and full ownership will transfer to the guardian family, who will keep him for life.
Why We Use Guardian Homes
The guardian program allows us to continue improving and growing our breeding program without compromising the happiness, well-being, or individual attention each dog deserves. While we would love to keep all of our dogs with us, we know they thrive with more one-on-one time in a family setting.
Guardian Home Responsibilities
Guardian families are responsible for:
Providing daily care, love, and a stable home
Food, treats, toys, and routine grooming
Regular veterinary care not related to breeding
Keeping the dog up to date on vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and overall health maintenance
All **breeding-related veterinary expenses** are covered by us.
